Visitor's Reception
If you are new to Saint Andrew's, visiting just for the day, or considering membership, you are invited to attend a short reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the second morning worship service. This is an informal opportunity to learn more about Saint Andrew's, meet other visitors, our pastors, and some of our elders, deacons, ministry directors, and staff. Light refreshments will be available.
Christmas Eve Services
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. with music from the Chancel Choir. Overflow seating will be available in the Fellowship Hall.
Children's Christmas Pageant
All are invited to attend the Children's Christmas Pageant in the sanctuary. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be enjoyed in the fellowship hall after the pageant. Please note the new time of 6:00 pm for the pageant.
Advent Evensong
Our evening worship service on the Fourth Sunday of Advent will be a service of Choral Evensong. The Youth Choir and Sinfonia will present Durante’s Magnificat along with choral responses by Rachel Aarons. Choral Evensong is a sung service of Evening Prayer which revolves around the Psalm of the day, Old Testament and New Testament scripture readings, the biblical canticles, prayers, and a brief homily. The tradition of Evensong dates back to the time of the English Reformation and the publication of the Book of Common Prayer in 1549.
Communicants' Class
Parents who believe their child has exercised saving faith in Christ are invited to enroll them in the communicants’ class.
Communicants' Class Informational Meeting
There will be an informational meeting held on January 11 in the fellowship hall after the second worship service to explain the purpose of the communicants’ class, answer questions, and help parents determine if the class is an appropriate choice for their child at this time. Parents are encouraged to attend this meeting if they have a child registered for the communicants’ class.
New Members' Class
If you would like to become a member of Saint Andrew's Chapel or are interested in learning more about the church, please attend this 8-session class which is required for membership. If you have any questions about this class, attendance, or membership, please contact the church office.
